to quality living
Since 1971, MHF has created safe and vibrant communities of quality affordable housing available to people over age 62 with very low incomes. We have 18 properties geographically dispersed throughout Los Angeles County and provide accessible, service enhanced environments where our residents thrive and age with dignity. We are proud to serve the area and look forward to providing supportive, stable homes for years to come.
Menorah Housing Foundation provides affordable housing for people 62+, and it is an excellent opportunity to become part of a vibrant, healthy community of adults.
Service Coordinators are located in each building. They are trained to support residents and to offer assistance when needed.
“Every morning that I open my eyes and wake up in the place it is so gorgeous, and I think it’s mine! They are really gonna let me live here, I can stay here! This is mine, its beautiful, its clean. It makes the whole rhythm of your days different, you don’t feel like you’re just killing time anymore. Really every day you are living.”

“It is good to sing the praises of the Menorah housing Foundation for their continuing remarkable efforts in this field of human development and concern. Aging is a very adventurous ordeal! The transition from youth to retirement can be difficult, and certainly brings its own set of problems. MHF provided me the keys to take such a big step. Living in the safe living environment offered, showed me the way.”
